Foxholm has ample, easy off road parking and is set in a large garden from which there are beautiful views across the adjacent open country side to the rear. Although we do not have wide doors and ramps all the accommodation is on one level once the small step at the entrance has been negotiated it is ideal for people with limited mobility. We have three en-suite rooms. Two rooms are housed in the 200 year old barn attached to the main bungalow and the third is accessed directly from the entrance hall. The décor follows an African theme that evokes the warmth and peace of the Rift Valley or the Kenyan ocean coast, through the colours scheme, pictures and artefacts displayed. There is a lounge, for the exclusive use of guests that gives access to the rooms, Mara and Samburu and out to the rear garden.
The en suite guest rooms, Mara, Samburu and Malindi are well equipped having hairdryer, colour TV, with video and DVD player, clock radios and tea/coffee making facilities. Each has a spacious shower room with large, luxurious, fluffy towels and beautiful soaps and lotions for pampering yourself or partner. We have a selection of Videos, DVDs and CDs that guests can browse and then borrow or bring their own along to use during their stay. There is also a wide selection of fiction and non fiction books that guests are free to browse.
We pride ourselves on the quality and range of local, largely organic items offered at Breakfast which is served between 8.00 and 9.30. In addition to a Full English Breakfast guests can chose from two or three special alternatives; for a sample menu click here. Special dietary requirements, or preferences, will be catered for if we are notified at the time of booking.
